Why leave the office

A seminar in the countryside changes the quality of the conversation

A meeting away from screens and corridors means more thinking time, conversations that open up over a meal and a team that reconnects. Domaine Majorelle is a whole house, exclusive to your group: no other guests, no imposed timetable, and a large enclosed garden to take a breath between sessions.

The estate is in La Bellière, near Forges-les-Eaux, in the heart of the Pays de Bray. The local tourist office also promotes the area for seminars: see their page on seminars and groups (in French).

Formats

Four ways to organise your seminar

Study day

A full day: coffee welcome, work sessions, lunch, time to talk. Ideal for a management committee or a strategy review.

Residential seminar

One or two nights on site, up to 10 guests staying. In the evening, the fireside sitting room keeps the discussion going.

Creative workshop

Brainstorming, vision, annual planning: change the scenery to change the angle.

Team offsite

Less formal work, more cohesion: activities, shared meals, walks, free time.

Sleeping capacity: 10 guests, 3 bedrooms. Day participants possible on request.

Activity ideas to bring the team together

On the estate

Tennis (private court), pétanque, table tennis, games in the large garden, wood-fired barbecue in the evening.

By bike

Four loops from Forges-les-Eaux, from 16 to 43 km, detailed by the tourist office (in French). The Avenue Verte runs through the town.

On foot

Waymarked walks in the Pays de Bray (listed trails), a stroll in the Bois de l'Épinay.

Riding or golf

An equestrian centre in the Lyons forest offers horseback seminars; golf is available via the Domaine de Forges.

Local flavours

A tasting built around Pays de Bray produce: the Bray Gourmand guide and the Neufchâtel cheese route offer ideas.

Heritage

FAQ

Seminar in Normandy: your questions

How many people can you host for a seminar?

The gîte sleeps up to 10 guests in 3 bedrooms. For a larger group or participants joining for the day only, get in touch: we look at each project individually.

Is there a meeting room?

The estate is a charming house with a large living area, a sitting room with a fireplace, a terrace and an enclosed garden: warm working spaces rather than a standard conference room. Tell us what you need (screen, flipchart, Wi-Fi…) and we will confirm what is possible.

Are meals included?

We can arrange meals and breakfasts with our local partners, depending on your needs. This is set out in the proposal we send you.

How far is it from Paris?

About 1h45 by road. The estate is in La Bellière, near Forges-les-Eaux, in Seine-Maritime.

Can we use the pool during the seminar?

The heated pool is open from May to September only. The rest of the year, the large living room with its fireplace, walks and nearby activities take over.

How do I get a quote?

Write to us via the contact form with your dates, number of participants and type of seminar. Seminars are hosted by prior request, with a proposal tailored to your group.

Can we bring a dog?

Yes, pets are welcome at the estate.
